Sorry that I didn't post this yesterday, but honestly, I just didn't feel like it. I'm lazy, I know, but since I'm pregnant I think that is allowed every now and again!
So the appointment went well! We listened to the baby's heartbeat, which was still pumping strong and then I asked him a bunch of questions which he answered. Based upon all the information and tests from the ER as well as listening to the heartbeat yesterday, he doesn't really feel that I should be overly concerned about it. Hearing that from the Dr was really calming, I went in there really concerned and I left feeling reassured that everything is okay and my baby is fine. Other than answering a million of my other questions he has said that he is concerned about my blood pressure. It is not at hypertension levels but he is concerned about it and said he would decide whether to treat me as a hypertension patient or not. (I wanna do some research on it because I always get really nervous and anxious when I go and my pulse quickens and honestly it seems really ridiculous and I have no idea why I do it, but I do and I wanna know if it could affect my blood pressure readings). Also since diabetes and gestational diabetes happens to run in my family he went ahead and gave me an early sugar test. I can find out those results on Monday. The good news is that I've only gained 2 pounds, woohoo! So all in all there are a couple things that I'm concerned about right now, but hopefully all will turn out well, but I'll keep you posted!

I almost forgot...
Okay, so i know I just posted about 5 minutes ago but I forgot to mention and include pictures of baby project #2. It's one of those French Memory/Photo boards! I started it yesterday (Monday) and I'm almost finished with it, I only need to sew on 8 more buttons and then I'm done. But here are the pictures anyway.
I Love to Shop...
and it's even more fun when it's for a baby! I am surprised actually, I got just as much enjoyment from shopping for the baby as I do when I'm shopping for myself! Now I know what you're probably thinking, "how can she shop for a baby that she doesn't even know the gender for"? Well that's an easy answer...it's called gender neutral!!! Anyway, I really only went to the mall to meet with a group from a class and do some research for our project (yes, that really is the truth). However, I ended up having a few hours to waste and I just couldn't resist. It just so turns out that since all the spring/summer clothing is out now they're selling all the fall/winter stuff at really cheap prices (especially at The Children's Place) and it just so happens that our dear baby will be born in September which is when the really cold weather starts to creep in. So anyway, enough of the talkin' here are my really cool finds!

Just When You Think Life Is Getting Boring...
Okay, so we had the scare of our lives this morning! At about 4:30am I woke up for my nightly bathroom trip and upon entering the bathroom and turning on the light I discovered blood. Lots and lots of blood. At this point I was hysterical but probably in shock because I didn't start to cry until I went back to the bedroom, looked at the bed and saw the blood there, and woke Brandon up to my crying. We were both horrified at the thoughts of what it could all mean. So I called my mom who somehow managed to calm me down and tell me to call the Dr. The doctor tells me to go straight to the ER, which I do. Upon arrival they take me straight back into the the part of the ER that is labeled "Critical" needless to say that didn't calm me down any. They decided the wanted me to have a female nurse, I guess they thought a female could empathize with me more, so she comes in and informs me that they're going to do a pelvic exam to make sure the plug is still in place, blood work to check my hormone levels and an ultrasound to check and make sure everything on the inside looks good as well. Well the pelvic exam went fine although she said it was hard to tell because of all the blood, although she did try to reassure me that it was "old blood" so I had definitely stopped bleeding. After that they took my blood and then wheeled me to the ultrasound department. I was helped there by a very nice lady who helped to comfort me a lot. She actually discovered that I have a 3.5cm cyst on my right ovary that none of my other doctors had found, which kinda ticked me off (not that she found it but that my other doctors hadn't found it). Other than that she took her time and let me watch our baby as much as I wanted. Upon telling her what had happened with the pictures and my last ultrasound she decided that she was going to give me a CD full of pictures of our beautiful baby (We have about 17 pictures but I'll share 4 with you). I had a blast watching Baby Fox moving around and all that fun stuff. It obviously is relaxing in there because it has its legs crossed and its head resting peacefully on its arm. So everything looked fine with the ultrasound as well. The baby has a heartbeat of 150, which is healthy and just watching him/her made me very happy and helped to reassure me dramatically. As for what the doctors say, everything seems to be fine I just have to followup with my OB/GYN next week but seeing as I had an appointment for Wednesday anyway, that won't be an issue. Anyway...
This is a face shot. You can see where the eyes are and the baby's hand beside it's head. He/She must really like that because the entire time it had it's head resting on it's hand.
Without furthur ado...Baby Fox:

A Relaxing Weekend with Family.
We had a very enjoyable weekend. B's family came on Friday and stayed with us until tonight (sunday). It was really nice to see them, especially since we haven't really seen them since Christmas. We were all able to relax and enjoy each others company and now my living room is so much cleaner! We are the PO Box for P (B's dad) and C (B's sister) and after a month and a half of not seeing them we had piles and piles of boxes. So it's nice to see my floor again! Other than that we spent Saturday laying around the house and doing a little shopping. We had a great dinner, a mixture of Chinese food, Mexican Food, and of course Pizza. We then went over to our friend's to borrow Transformers and we watched that the remainder of the night. We woke up to an ice storm and I'm actually grateful that we're back to going to church at 9am because they cancelled it due to the ice. However, a few hours later it warmed up and the ice turned to rain, so things are back to normal now. It was a nice change and we invited a family over to have some of the chicken noodle soup that I made, which was delicious I might add. So that was our weekend, hope yours was just as enjoyable!

A Very Happy V-Day!
Valentine's Day is always great! Well unless you're single, then it probably sucks, at least I thought it sucked when I was single. But anyway, yesterday was a long day but a really good day. I, of course had a very long day at school and B had a long day at work. We had dinner reservations for 7:20pm and boy was the place packed. I can't say that I was surprised; it's actually one of the best Italian restaurants that I've ever been to. We had reservations for 7:20 but I'm sure it helped that we arrived around 7:00 because we were seated about 10 minutes after our scheduled time but another couple that was scheduled for 7:00 had to wait something like 25 minutes. So dinner was great, then we just came home and relaxed for a while (B has to rest his food by lying on the couch after he eats). After that we exchanged cards and presents (sort of). I guess I should say that we officially received our presents because we both knew in advance what we had gotten. Except B did surprise me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers when he picked me up at school. So I ended up with flowers and a necklace that I had been wanting and B ended up with his favorite thing in the world, Piston's Tickets as well as a gift card to the Palace Locker room (he said he's going to buy the baby some Pistons gear), and a post game meet and greet with some player. The package also comes with Piston's Martini glasses but those are really of no use to us, so who cares! So all in all it was a fantastic day and we enjoyed our last Valentine's Day without a kid!

We're Having A Girl!!!!
Maybe. Well at least according to the Ancient Chinese Birth Gender Chart we're having a girl. But since there hasn't been an ultrasound to determine gender yet I guess I shouldn't really put too much faith in that. However, it does supposedly have a 99% accuracy rate. Anyway, I thought that it was kinda neat. Now that I'm 10 weeks (and ¼ of the way through the pregnancy, not that I'm counting or anything) we only have 10 more weeks before we'll be able to find out gender. This process takes forever, we've known for about 6 weeks now but truly it seems like it's been months and months. As for good news, B seems to think that I'm showing. In fact he's pretty convinced of it. I think so most times as well, although when fully dressed no one can really tell anyway. Well I think that's about it now because my head is ready to hit the keyboard and fall asleep. ttyl.

*Sigh*
It's a miracle; I actually have some free time to post to the blog. It really is amazing! So I guess now that I have time to write that I should come up with something to write. This week started off on the rough side, I can definitely say that the pregnancy emotions are starting to kick in. But thanks to great friends and great family members I was able to get over the hump. I'm still rather impatient with this whole pregnancy process but being so busy has helped me put my mind on other things. It's kinda weird the things that pregnancy changes, it's not just about the changes to your body but I am also having mental and spiritual changes. I find myself always wanting to improve, always wanting to be better and honestly it has very little to do with me and more to do with the unborn child that I already love so much. I want to live better so that I can be a better example. I want to learn more so that I can teach more. It is absolutely amazing the things that you think about when you're pregnant! Sometimes I feel unworthy, unworthy of the unconditional love that my child will have for me, unworthy of raising one of God's most amazing creations and unworthy of this beautiful blessing that's growing inside me right this very minute. But even with all those feelings and emotions, I wouldn't change my life right now for all the money in the world. My life's not perfect but I couldn't ask for a more supportive husband, family or friends because I am so truly blessed by them all and I can't wait for my baby to be a part of it. I'm under no delusions that this whole process of having a baby and raising a child will be easy but I know that I have such a strong support group of people that are willing and anxious to help that I can't help but be excited about the whole thing. I must be one of the, if the THE, luckiest girl in the world! 143

The Greatest Invention Ever!
Okay, so after being told about these belly bands at church last Sunday, I went out today to Motherhood Maternity and purchased their Tummy Sleeve. Oh my goodness, these are the best invention ever!!! Since I tend to prefer my jeans a little more on the fitted side and I have several skirts made of type of material that has absolutely no give or stretch at all (like a satin type material but lighter and more flowy). So even though I'm not really showing (I don't think) the clothing does tend to get tighter in the waist area. So these amazing bands (they look like a tube top) slip over your pants or skirts so you don't have to button and zip them up. So basically it expands the life of your non-maternity bottoms and it looks like you're just wearing a layered shirt. I am wearing one now just because I wanted to try it out and honestly I don't think that I will ever button my pants ever again, haha!! These things are so amazingly comfortable.
I'm beginning to think that Motherhood Maternity should be paying me for advertisements, haha. Anyway, that's about all for me right now, our life is pretty uneventful right now so I really don't have too much else to say so we'll be talking to you later!

Eight Weeks Three Days!!!
Okay, so if you didn't already know, I am the most impatient person that you will ever meet!!!! I am 8wks 3 days as of right now and it seems like the next 31-32 weeks are going to take forever to get here. Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying experiencing the whole pregnancy thing (probably because I'm still symptom-less) but I can't believe I have to wait until September. I am one of those people who doesn't want to wait for anything, but in this instance I have no control, and frankly I don't know how I feel about it. I know I shouldn't rush things because in the end all that I really want is a healthy, happy baby but knowing that and saying that really doesn't do much to increase the amount of patience that I have. I guess I'll be slightly more content when we find out the gender of the baby because then I can start buying stuff, and honestly nothing makes me more happy and content than shopping!
On a different note I thought I'd share some completely random information with you, so enjoy. The only cravings that I have really had have been for fruit and green beans mostly although broccoli is really yummy right now too (well yummier than normally). I've always enjoyed sleeping but I think I enjoy it even more so now than before. Cigarette smoke is even more appalling than before, in fact when I smell it that is about the only time I feel nauseas. I have a heightened since of smell and the guy who sits next to me in one of my classes has horrible breath. I really can't wait until I have a really big belly because I wanna laugh at Brandon having to cut my toe nails, just the thought of it makes me laugh. Although, I will inform him that if he doesn't want to do it, he doesn't have to...I'll just go pay $30 for a pedicure every time I need one...I think that will convince him. B is so cute, whenever I don't want to eat or he doesn't feel like I've eaten enough he'll say, "But what about the baby?" He also always says goodnight to the baby before going to sleep each night. We have a name picked out for a girl and half of a name for a boy. For a girl, her name will be I. J. Fox for a boy it'll be Elian _______ Fox, (we can't agree on a middle name) all that we can really agree on is that we want it to be a Hispanic name. In fact I think I'll add a new poll to the site for you all to vote on, I'll include the middle names that I like and see which of those you all like the best. I think I'll do that now, so let us know what you think! Oh and if you have any suggestions feel free to leave them in the comment section, but chances are if it's not a Hispanic name, we probably won't use it. Although the name Andreas isn't Hispanic, it's more European, so who knows...just take the poll and leave whatever suggestions you have. 143
